Jana and Fedor's wedding was definitely one of the weddings we were most excited about...

Jana and Fedor have already planned their big day twice - in Provence with lots and lots of guests. But each time Corona got in the way, so the wedding had to be cancelled each time. After two years, however, their ideas changed and so the big party in Provence turned into a small, very intimate wedding on Mallorca. The only ones who were to accompany them on this very personal moment were their two children.

In October, the time had finally come - they moved into their finca near Felanitx, where the wedding ceremony and the dinner afterwards were supposed to take place. As a little surprise, we found a small castle very close to the finca, which provided a breathtaking backdrop for the wedding ceremony. When we took Jana to the castle and told her about our plan, she was blown away....

Two days to go until the wedding... one of our absolute spleens is to check the weather forecast every hour - heavy rain clouds on the wedding day, followed by a storm warning for the region the next day. Surely the wedding can't literally fall through a third time? Then the big day finally arrived and it began with shock news; the bride was ill. We pulled out all the stops - and are so incredibly grateful to everyone involved for their support and flexibility! - and brought the wedding forward by a couple of days. Again, all we can say is that it was probably fate. Now the big day was finally here! A radiant bride, a happy groom and no rain clouds... and the wedding could take place exactly as we had wished for the two of them.

The ceremony was set up in one of the ruins at the castle and when Fedor saw his Jana, he was smitten. It was so great to see them both enjoying this moment they had imagined and longed for so long. After the ceremony, it was off to the photo shoot for the little family - another highlight for Jana as she is an incredibly big fan of Chris & Ruth.

Dinner was then to take place at their finca. There were different tapas to eat, which were prepared by a private chef. We transformed the terrace into a sea of candles - here the four of them could let this wonderful day come to an end.

Dear Jana, dear Fedor, thank you so much for letting us be part of these incredibly beautiful and intimate moments. We are incredibly happy that we were able to celebrate the day the way you imagined it - you deserved it so much!
