M&D - Golden October
Maren, our perfectionist and Dirk, the Master of Excel - these two grew so close to our hearts during the planning of their wedding.
If anyone had precise ideas about their wedding, it was Maren. As we found out during the wedding, Maren already had a checklist of the perfect wedding as a child and now it was time to implement it and actually the planning with Maren was quite simple... either she liked the suggestions 100% or not at all - there was no middle ground. It was exactly the same with Dirk. Dirk kept a record of everything in Excel spreadsheets during the planning - even the wines were all tasted and evaluated in Excel - the day could only be perfect, couldn't it?
On 15.10.2022 it was finally time - bright blue skies, without a single cloud and 32 degrees. Who would have expected such weather in October? That could only be a good sign.
After all the guests had arrived, Maren's dad brought her to her Dirk at the wedding altar and what can we say? She looked simply beautiful - no wonder that Dirk even had a few tears in his eyes. When Silbermond played "Ja" during the ceremony, there was not a dry eye in the house. You could just feel how much they enjoyed the moment and how much love was in the air.
During the aperitif by the pool, two guitarists played, bringing an extra Spanish flair. An absolute highlight was the champagne tower - take a look at the great pictures that were taken.
After dinner on the patio, the party area moved indoors. Surrounded by their guests holding sparklers, the two of them did an opening dance... and what a dance it was. Afterwards they just celebrated.
Dear Maren and Dirk. What none of your guests knew was that the DJ and the photographer had to be changed one week before the wedding. What was a big shock at first was fate in the end. Your wedding definitely showed us that nothing happens without a reason. In the end everything was perfect! You were beaming and your guests were celebrating. You made the wedding an unforgettable day not only for you but also for us. We thank you so much for your trust and the fun we had together!
